SPAIN — Kao Brands Europe SL in Spain is the youngest subsidiary and was established in May 2007. From our offices in Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona we work with a small and dedicated team to bring our ground-breaking hair care brand John Frieda® to the Spanish market.
Our salon heritage and prescriptive approach for genuinely tailored solutions allow us to develop a premium haircare category — which is completely new to Spain. We believe that a true understanding of our consumers' needs and constant innovation are fundamental to delivering premium products that make a difference.
In the first year of business the Spanish press has acknowledged the uniqueness and relevance of John Frieda® hair care by awarding us two prestigious awards: the Marie Claire Prix d´Excellence for best beauty launch in 2007 in Spain and the T de Telva for best haircare launch.
